WHY SMALL GROUP TRAINING AND HIIT TRAINING?

At Axe Fit we focus on small group strength training in our S.G.P.T. class and high-intensity training in our HIIT class.

Why do we provide Small Group Personal Training (S.G.P.T.)?

Having only 8 people in this class allows the trainer to get heaps of one-on-one time with each client. It brings that personalised attention and focus into a group environment. Our S.G.P.T. class is also great for an individual that wants one on one training but can't afford to pay for a personal trainer 6 days a week. It's the ultimate way to get the most out of your training.

During S.G.P.T. classes, we have a focus on strength training. The most common question we get is “will strength training make me bulky?” in short, no! It’s consuming calories that will make you bulky (we will discuss the importance of diet in another post). Strength training purely builds up muscle, and it is building up this muscle that helps drop body fat faster. In fact, strength training is vital when you want to change your body shape.

Why HIIT training?

Simply, to provide our clients with the most effective workouts, that are both enjoyable and challenging.

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is the perfect way to quickly burn calories! This will help turn your body into “fat-burning mode”, and it continues burning calories after exercise. HIIT increases your metabolism, meaning it helps your body shift to using fat as fuel. Warm-up, get stuck into thirty minutes of HIIT training, cool down and you're done for the day.

Axe.Fit incorporates HIIT class options daily because of the fantastic effects on strengthening and toning your body as well as your inner health! Additionally, Axe Fit ensures we do this in a team environment! Each individual helps to motivate, challenge each other and build a fitness community here in Hataitai.

What do we recommend?

At Axe.Fit, we encourage our clients to attend a combination of the high-pace HIIT class training and strength focus training in our S.G.P.T. classes. By alternating between the two, allows a well-rounded and well-balanced training routine.
