What is HIIT?

HIIT is high intensity interval training. This means that you workout in short bursts, for example; 45 seconds high intensity and 15 second lower intensity/rest - and then repeat! 

So why is HIIT so effective?

HIIT is all about fat burning! By having shorts bursts of high intensity workouts your workout depletes your oxygen stores which then switches your body to anaerobic mode. Your metabolism starts working over-time and your body switches from using carbs to fat for energy.
